Sun in the Valley, Snow at Stibnite

Sun in the Valley, Snow at Stibnite

Published on March 21, 2016

While it is starting to look and feel like spring around many parts of Idaho, Mr. Winter is still holding on at the Stibnite Gold Project site. We have more than 4 feet of snow on the ground at the site!

In fact, the snow levels are similar to what we’ve seen in historical photos taken by miners many years ago. Just take a look at the photos below! The truck may look a little different (or a lot) in the photo we took this week but the snow is the same and in both photos there is a lot of it.

So, enjoy the nice weather in the valley and send warm thoughts to everyone working up at the Stibnite Gold Project site.

Snowy roads are not new at the Stibnite Gold Project site. Look at this historic photo from our archives!
