Help Shape the Future of the Stibnite Gold Project

Your Opinion Will Help Shape the Future of the Stibnite Gold Project

The Stibnite Gold Project  is being evaluated through the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) by the U.S. Forest Service and other federal agencies. Public input is critical to the permitting process and there are two formal opportunities for you to comment. The first phase is known as the scoping period – it officially started on June 5, 2017 and will run through July 20, 2017.

During the 45-day scooping period, the U.S. Forest Service will collect information from the public on how to evaluate our proposed plan and any alternatives. This information will be carefully weighed as they analyze our proposal.

TWO WAYS YOU CAN HELP:

 1. Attend a meeting hosted by the U.S. Forest Service.

At these meetings you will be able to learn about the project from the U.S. Forest Service.

 2. Comment on the Project.

The U.S. Forest Service is looking for written comments regarding how to evaluate our plan. Find out more about the economic, social and environmental components of our proposed plan here.

Comments should be specific and respectful. Let the U.S. Forest service know how this project will impact you and why you think it is important, as well as any specific aspects of the project that you believe should be brought to their attention.
